just found out that Alain defected, but not before betraying us all. It was a small mercy that he didn't do anything worse than he did.wisdomintellect
it makes me think - how many more will betray us before all this is over? I sincerely hope it is not to the destruction of the cause!
TASK Four: 1 Drabble; Theme - Kiss
Show: Titanic the Musical
She’d joked about it when she’d boarded the ship, about Farrell being the man that she’d marry. Now, it was actually happening!
As she kissed him boldly, she knew she’d made the right decision to board the Titanic, sailing to America and her new future.
They released from the kiss (a longer one than she’d intended) leaving Farrell gasping for air. “Don’t you come up for air, Kate?”
“I just did, boy-o!” She grinned as he took her in his arms, and they both looked out to the horizon stretching in front of them.
TASK Five: 1 Hand Drawn; Theme - Reunited
Title: Galinda and Elphie: Schoolgirl Friends Reunited (At Least, For a Moment)
(The brown box in the middle is the Grimmerie.)TASK Six: 1 Letter; Theme - Years
I never dreamed I’d be writing to you, and now that I am, you will never see this,
because you think I’m dead because I can’t risk the communication. With things the way they are right now, I can’t be seen or heard from. You know how it is.
Fiyero is well, despite what was done to him. What I did to him. Keeping him away from fires on these cold nights is a challenge, though…
I would ask how things are with you, but since you won’t ever read this letter, I won’t. I hope you are well, though, and that the crown of Oz isn’t getting too heavy to bear.
I do miss you, and wish –
No. I know better than to wish. All my years of schooling, and I still submit to such foolishness. Time seems to pass more slowly now that it did at Shiz. I wonder how much you’ve changed since we last spoke?
I would ask you how things are with you, but since you won’t ever read this letter, I won’t. I hope you are well, though, and that the crown of Oz isn’t getting too heavy to bear.
This is silly. I shall stop writing now. Goodbye.
